Digger and dumper driver

Planet Recruitment are looking for a skilled Digger / Dumper Driver to join a client of ours on a long term project.

Experienced candidates will only be considered for this project.

Candidates will need to be competent to drive a 3T and 8T digger plus a 6T dumper and also a Bomag 80 roller.

Duties
Operate excavators and dumpers with precision to move earth, gravel, and other materials around the construction site
Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to complete excavation and material transport tasks efficiently
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Skills
Proven experience operating excavators, dumpers, or similar construction equipment
Valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record for operating heavy vehicles on-site
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills for clear coordination with supervisors and colleagues
Safety-conscious mindset with a focus on maintaining a secure work environment
