Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) Energy Efficiency & Retrofit
Location: Swindon (Covering Wiltshire Regional Patch)
Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) OR £17.45 per hour (PAYE) + Weekly Pay
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (Immediate contract start with a direct pathway to a permanent role)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Day Shift
Mandatory Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence, Own Vehicle, Social Housing Experience

We are urgently recruiting a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer based out of Swindon for a Temp to Perm opportunity. You will manage customer-facing operations across active Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) retrofit projects spanning the wider Wiltshire patch.
In this role, you will act as the crucial link between local residents, site managers, and trade contractors during live property upgrades (including external/internal wall insulation, window/door replacements, heating, and ventilation works), ensuring clear communication and high tenant satisfaction throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities:
Resident Engagement & Retrofit Support: Conduct initial home visits, pre-work surveys, and ongoing consultations to explain SHDF energy-efficiency works to residents.
Occupied Property Logistics: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, coordinating property access, work schedules, and addressing daily enquiries to minimise disruption.
Complaint & Issue Resolution: Proactively manage tenant concerns, de-escalate access issues, and liaise with site managers to resolve on-site operational challenges.
Wiltshire Patch Coverage: Travel efficiently between properties across Swindon and the surrounding Wiltshire region to conduct home visits and quality check sign-offs.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed resident liaison logs, property access notes, and communication records.
Requirements:
Relevant Experience: Proven track record as a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), Tenant Liaison Officer (TLO), or Customer Liaison Officer within social housing or decent homes frameworks (experience on insulation / EWI / SHDF schemes highly desirable).
Mobility: Must possess a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own reliable vehicle for daily patch travel across Wiltshire.
