We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is a specialist UK construction and maintenance contractor, delivering high-quality refurbishment and installation projects across live commercial sites.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Project Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple refurbishments and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee refurbishment, fit-out, and installation projects, ensuring all works are programmed and resourced effectively.
- Manage and support Site Managers and site teams delivering high-quality carpentry, M&E, and general refurbishment works across multiple projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery and programme compliance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and project-specific risk assessments throughout all phases of the project.
- Monitor project progress, programme, costs, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues, delays, and risks.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate planning and execution of works.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee quality assurance, snagging, and project handover, ensuring all works are completed to the required standard and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including programmes, progress reports, variations, procurement schedules, cost tracking, and material procurement records.
To be successful for this Project Manager role you must have:
- Minimum 2 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong trade background.
- Have previous experiecne managing commercial refrubishment projects.
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification (desireable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Hands-on and flexible approach to working on-site.
