An established civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of a portfolio of major Network Rail infrastructure projects across the Leeds and York areas. The work will include works such as structures, bridges, earthworks, highways, drainage, station infrastructure, enabling works and associated civil engineering packages. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who understands the demands of working within a rail environment and can take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion. Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and site-based delivery teams. Strong commercial and contractual awareness. Good understanding of construction programmes, project controls, risk and change management. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages on site. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management practices. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering information.
