Mechanical Supervisor Location: Billericay, Essex Sector: Residential / Building Services Salary: Competitive, depending on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading MEP contractor working on a large-scale residential development in Billericay. This is a site-based position overseeing mechanical installation works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards. The Role Supervise mechanical installation works across a large residential development Manage and coordinate mechanical engineers, subcontractors and site teams Ensure works are installed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, construction and other trades Monitor progress and report back to the Project Manager Assist with programme planning and sequencing of works Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet required standards Manage site documentation, RAMS and permits where required Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures Liaise with the wider site management team to resolve technical and installation issues About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Chargehand / Mechanical Foreman Experience working on large residential developments Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors Good understanding of construction programmes and sequencing Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Strong communication and organisational skills Relevant mechanical qualifications are desirable What's on Offer?
