Elvet Recruitment are seeking an experienced Freelance Civils Site Manager to oversee highways and public-realms works in the Seaham area. You will be responsible for day-to-day site delivery, subcontractor coordination and maintaining safety and quality standards across a busy Civils programme. This role is eligible for either CIS or LTD Contractors with a competitive day rate available. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily site operations across roadworks, bus lanes, paving, tarmac and general civils Lead site inductions, briefings, RAMS and permit control. Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme. Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance. They are currently looking to recruit a site manager to run projects based around the UK Skills & Responsibilities for the Site Manager Liaise with clients and develop good business relationships Ensure a steady flow of work is issued by the client(s) to maintain the site resource levels Survey potential works and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing Plan and be responsible for and co-ordinate site work in accordance with the instructions of the client and their Contracts Manager.
