Multi-Trade Operative

17.00- 18.00 per hour Company van Paid door-to-door travel

Location: Mobile role covering Yorkshire and the Humber
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: 12-week temporary-to-permanent position

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join an established building services company.

This is a varied, hands-on role completing building repairs, refurbishment work and planned maintenance across different customer sites. We're looking for a capable all-round tradesperson who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and complete work to a professional standard.

Someone from a kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, property maintenance or general building background could be particularly well suited, provided they have experience across several trades.

Your work will include:

• General building repairs and property maintenance
• Joinery and basic carpentry
• Tiling and wet plumbing
• Plaster patching and making good
• Kitchen and bathroom repairs or installations
• Fitting doors, skirting boards, fixtures and ironmongery
• Completing refurbishment and remedial work
• Identifying problems and carrying out practical repairs
• Working independently across customer sites
• Travelling throughout Yorkshire and the Humber
• Occasional overnight stays when required

• Previous multi-trade, property maintenance or general building experience
• Practical ability across several trades
• A strong core skill such as joinery, plumbing, tiling or plastering
• Confidence completing varied repairs without constant supervision
• Good problem-solving skills
• Pride in producing a professional finish
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away
• Reliable and professional approach in customer properties

You do not need to be a master of every trade. What matters is having a strong practical background, broad experience and the confidence to tackle a variety of building and maintenance work.
