Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established M&E and Facilities Management contractor. This is a permanent opportunity working across a variety of commercial sites throughout the Midlands, delivering planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC and air conditioning systems. With a strong pipeline of secured work and long-standing client relationships, this role offers excellent job security, overtime opportunities, and long-term career development.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Servicing and maintaining commercial split, VRV, and VRF systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Maintaining chillers, air handling units, ventilation systems, and associated plant
  • Completing installation, commissioning, and modification works where required
  • Ensuring all compliance documentation is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and industry standards
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards across all sites
  • Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Current F-Gas Certification
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and AHUs
  • Experience with installation and commissioning of HVAC systems would be advantageous
  • C&G or NVQ qualification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or a related discipline preferred
  • Electrical qualifications would be advantageous
  • Experience using CAFM systems and electronic reporting tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence
