Foreman

TLG Infrastructure are looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join our team on a busy civil engineering project involving groundworks, drainage, and earthworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily groundworks, drainage, and earthworks activities.
• Organise labour, plant, and materials to meet programme requirements.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
• Read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Site Manager, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Carry out daily briefings and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Monitor progress and report any issues or delays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman on civil engineering projects.
• Good knowledge of drainage, earthworks, and groundworks operations.
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Valid CSCS card (Supervisor/Manager level preferred).
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at Work certificate (desirable).
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
