Cleaner - Part-Time Evening Positions
Locations: Dunbar, Haddington, Tranent & Prestonpans
Pay Rate: 13 - 14.50 per hour
Contract Types Available: 20 Hours & 30 Hours per Week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Available Contracts
30-Hour Contract
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
- Friday: 12:30pm - 6:30pm
20-Hour Contract
- Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Friday: 12:30pm - 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy individuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided
Important Information
As this role involves working within a school, successful applicants will be required to undergo a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check. We will arrange and pay for the PVG application process.
