Join our dynamic construction team as a skilled Dryliner and make a real impact on building projects across Worcester.

Skilled Careers are looking for X4 Dryliners in Stafford to start ASAP for 1 week of work on a hospital.

£200 per day

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card
  • Previous site experience
  • Own PPE
  • References upon request
  • Reliable

Experience:

  • Construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson. This role requires a broad range of expertise in various construction and maintenance tasks, including roofing, plumbing, welding, and electrical work. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities.

Duties:

  • Perform roofing repairs and installations to ensure structural integrity and weatherproofing
  • Carry out plumbing tasks including installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, and fittings
  • Execute welding duties for metal fabrication and repairs as required
  • Conduct electrical work including installations, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with safety standards
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction projects
  • Engage in carpentry tasks such as framing, installing doors and windows, and constructing custom fixtures
  • Assist with plastering, masonry work, and construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures
  • Fabricate components according to specifications whilst adhering to quality standards
  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of tasks

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or other relevant trades is essential
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction is required
  • Strong background in carpentry, plastering, masonry, fabrication, and construction painting is advantageous
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings is important for successful task execution
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a keen attention to detail will be highly valued
