Maintenance Team Leader -based out of Newport - Permanent and Full Time

Please note: This role involves working at height on flat roofs and regular travel to commercial retail sites in the Newport, Bristol/Somerset areas

Purpose of the Role

• Leading small team of roof maintenance and roof cleaning operatives
• Carrying out very minor repairs on flat roofs, cleaning out guttering and removing accumulated items from the flat roofs.
• Estimation of costs for replacement guttering, roof felt etc
• Ensuring that RAMS and health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to at all times
• Newport, Bristol/Somerset areas

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Team Leader or Maintenance Supervisor
• Experience of working at heights
• Building Maintenance and repair experience - experience of minor roof repairs would be an advantage
• Happy to work at height
• Full UK Driving licence
• IPAF would be preferred but isn't essential
• Newport, Bristol/Somerset areas
