Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Groundworkers for rail projects in Exeter.
Responsibilities:
- Excavate and prepare sites for construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Install drainage systems and other underground utilities as required
- Assist in the laying of foundations and other groundwork tasks
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in groundwork or a related field, preferably through an internship
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
- Valid PTS Sentinel card
- CSCS or CPCS qualification
- Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
The contract will be for approximately 3 months beginning near the end of August, and will be Mon-Fri on days 07:00 - 17:00
