Painter and Decorator

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property maintenance contractor is looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their team working in and around Kingston. This is a temporary role for an initial 3 months, with potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works within occupied and void residential properties
• Prepare walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork ready for decoration
• Apply emulsion, gloss and other finishes to a high standard
• Carry out minor repairs and surface preparation before decorating
• Complete all works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Deliver excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Experience working in occupied and void properties
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of health and safety practices

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• Own hand tools
