Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a long-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join their team covering East Yorkshire and the surrounding region.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be responsible for carrying out the full range of asbestos analytical duties across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites throughout East Yorkshire and the surrounding region.

Working independently and alongside experienced colleagues, you will deliver high-quality analytical services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carrying out the full range of asbestos analytical duties
Undertaking air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing, and four-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
Working across commercial, industrial, and public sector properties
Liaising professionally with removal contractors, site managers, and clients
Conducting bulk asbestos sampling where required
Producing accurate and compliant documentation in line with HSG248 and HSG264
Supporting survey teams with Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys where required
Managing your own workload with autonomy while maintaining high technical standards



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

BOHS P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
BOHS P402 qualification desirable
Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience as an Asbestos Analyst
Strong understanding of HSG248, HSG264, and current asbestos legislation
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
