Job Description
Our client, a well-established and reputable main contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team for a development in Waltham Abbey.
The project comprises a 3 million residential scheme, with approximately 1 million of works remaining. The development consists of 14 apartments, with the roof already completed and around six months of finishing works left, including internal fit-out, external works and landscaping.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys delivering the final stages of a project to a high standard and is seeking long-term career stability with a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the completion of the remaining build programme
- Overseeing internal finishing trades and external landscaping works
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities
- Maintaining site records and reporting progress to senior management
- Driving health and safety compliance across the site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments
- Strong finishing and handover experience
- Valid CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work Certificate
- Valid SMSTS Certificate
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme delivery
