The Opportunity This role would suit a number of backgrounds, including: • An experienced Building Services Engineer or Coordinator looking to take the next step in their M&E career. • An experienced Building Services Consultant looking for a new career path. • An experienced M&E Project Manager looking to gain experience working for a Tier One main contractor. • An established Building Services professional with previous main contractor experience looking for a new challenge. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical Building Services / M&E support to project and pre-construction teams. • Ensure the design and installation of M&E services is fully coordinated, buildable, cost-effective and compliant with contractual requirements. • Review and evaluate M&E tenders, identifying risks and opportunities within the design. • Oversee the design and installation of M&E systems throughout the project lifecycle. • Work closely with project teams, designers, consultants, subcontractors and clients. • Provide technical input and support from pre-construction through to completion and aftercare. • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and project delivery. • Support the delivery of innovative and intelligent Building Services solutions. • Ensure M&E works are delivered to the required programme, quality and safety standards. About You We're looking for someone who is passionate about Building Services and wants to make a real contribution to the delivery of high-quality construction projects. You will ideally have: • A qualification or equivalent skills and experience at Level 6 / Degree level, preferably within a Mechanical or Electrical discipline. • Previous experience working for a main contractor. • Strong technical knowledge of M&E / Building Services. • Experience coordinating the design and installation of building services. • Design experience would be advantageous. • Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery. • Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. • A proactive approach with the ability to bring fresh thinking and new ideas. • A genuine passion for the built environment and delivering exceptional projects. Essential Requirements • Right to work in the UK, or eligibility to obtain this. • Full UK Driving Licence, or the ability to obtain one. • Willingness to travel across North West projects. • Previous experience within Building Services / M&E and construction.
