am currently looking fort a construction handyman to work on an office fit out.

Works include, cutting out raised access flooring and patching.

Making good, and keeping materials stored safely.

MUST Have experience, CSCS, PPE and references.

45 - 55 hours p/wk

Duties

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance across residential, commercial, or industrial properties, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and masonry.
  • Perform roofing repairs and installation as needed to ensure structural integrity.
  • Carry out construction painting to improve or restore surfaces.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete various tasks.
  • Fabricate custom solutions or modifications using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Assist with general building projects, including framing, drywall installation, or other carpentry tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and perform necessary repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
  • Collaborate with clients or team members to assess project requirements and deliver quality workmanship.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or related trades.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for various repair tasks.
  • Ability to fabricate or modify components as needed for specific projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if required.
  • Valid relevant certifications or licences are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary qualifications is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation or access to transportation is desirable for job site access.
