Falcon Green is delighted to be partnering with one of Europe s leading and most reputable contractors, renowned for delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Education, Healthcare, and Life Sciences sectors.

They are currently seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join a high-performing team on a Data Centre project in Groningen. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive EHS professional to support site leadership in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on a high-profile project.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in large-scale or mission-critical construction environments and a strong, hands-on approach to EHS delivery.

Please note: Employment will be in accordance with local labour laws. A competitive package is on offer, including base salary, living allowance, accommodation, regular flights, and a performance-based bonus.

Key Responsibilities of the EHS Advisor

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of all Environmental, Health & Safety systems on site.

  • Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership and engagement.

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

  • Advise site management, subcontractors, and operatives on EHS best practices and legal requirements.

  • Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with Dutch and EU Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.

  • Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documentation.

  • Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and EHS training as required.

  • Support regulatory inspections and external audits.

EHS Advisor Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related discipline.

  • Recognised EHS qualification (NEBOSH, HVK, or equivalent).

  • 3 7 years experience in an EHS role within construction or mission-critical environments.

  • Strong working knowledge of Dutch Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, site-based, and solutions-focused approach.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are highly desirable.
