The Role

As a Land Surveyor, you'll be responsible for carrying out accurate topographical and engineering surveys, collecting and processing geospatial data, and producing high-quality survey outputs for clients across a range of sectors.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out topographical and land surveys using Total Stations, GNSS and RTK equipment.
  • Establish and verify survey control to required accuracy standards.
  • Collect, process and validate geospatial survey data.
  • Produce accurate survey drawings, plans and reports using AutoCAD and specialist survey software.
  • Liaise with clients and site teams to understand project requirements and deliver outstanding service.
  • Maintain accurate survey records and project documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain and care for surveying equipment.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience in land surveying or geomatics (ideally 3+ years).
  • Experience carrying out topographical surveys.
  • Confidence using Total Stations, GNSS and other modern surveying equipment.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and survey processing software.
  • A good understanding of coordinate systems, datums and survey data management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships on site.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience with laser scanning technology.
  • Knowledge of Cyclone and/or N4CE software.
