Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer

Location: Leicester, East Midlands

Salary/Benefits: 28k - 45k + Training & Benefits

A national Water Treatment specialist is recruiting for a highly knowledgeable Equipment Engineer to join their team. You will predominantly be working across the Midlands region, performing servicing of existing water treatment equipment and components, and installing new systems where required. The ideal candidate will have a hardworking attitude and will be able to hit the ground running, utilising their exisiting experience to provide high levels of service. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Strong track record working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer
  • Robust technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
  • Ideally will hold plumbing qualifications, including: NVQ Level 1, Level 2 and / or Level 3 in Plumbing
  • It would be beneficial to hold electrical / mechanical experience
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Flexible to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

  • Servicing on existing water treatment components and systems, including: water softeners, chlorine dioxie units, ROs, demineralisation units and UV filtration systems
  • Installing new units and systems and associated fittings / components
  • Fault-finding on site and making recommendations for works
  • Ordering required materials and tools
  • Producing regular technical service reports
  • Providing regular updates to clients and technical advice to clients
  • Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
