Maintenance Operative - New Build Housing

Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative with a background working within New Build Housing?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a private, regional new build housing developer, who are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Operative to join them on a permanent basis to work on sites across the West Midlands/Warwickshire area. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out snagging tasks on properties still within their warranty period and ensuring a quality customer journey along the way.

What are we looking for?

• Prior experience working as a Maintenance Operative for a new build housing developer is ESSENTIAL!
• Ideally, a C&G/NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery.
• Excellent customer facing experience.
• Proactive and a teamplayer

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to defects reported within the warranty period of purchasers and clients.
• Ensure works are completed to an excellent standard
• Liaise with homeowners and carry out effective back up cover to subcontractors.
• Be responsible for health and safety to both operative and the occupants of the property.
