An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction business delivering plastering, drylining and fa ade (PFP) solutions on apartment refurbishment projects. This Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor role is ideal for someone who has already gained experience working for a construction company and is looking to develop their commercial career within a supportive and ambitious environment. As an Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with an experienced commercial team, gaining hands-on exposure across a range of live refurbishment projects while building the skills needed to progress into a fully-fledged Quantity Surveyor. With a strong pipeline of secured work across Liverpool and Manchester, this Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor position offers genuine long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of multiple refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will assist with cost reporting, subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts while developing your understanding of commercial best practice. The Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor will work alongside operational teams to ensure projects remain commercially successful and will gain valuable experience dealing with clients and subcontractors. This Assistant / Graduate Quantity Surveyor role requires previous experience working for a construction company, strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn. You will primarily be based in Liverpool with the flexibility to travel to projects in Manchester one day each week.
