We are working with a respected and growing civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their expanding project team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure and civil engineering schemes across Scotland. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing projects from inception through to completion while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency are maintained.
As the Site Agent, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering projects on site
Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve programme objectives
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
Monitoring project costs, progress and resource allocation
Liaising with clients, designers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Preparing reports, maintaining site documentation and driving continuous improvement initiatives
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
A proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
Relevant industry qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and a valid First Aid certificate
