About the company
This is an M&E building services contractor that's genuinely on the up. They've grown significantly over the past couple of years and that trajectory isn't slowing down, in fact, it's accelerating.
Traditionally operating as a subcontractor, they've recently made the step up to tier one contractor on a number of high-profile projects, delivering 3 data centres and working directly for the companies in the banking sector. That's a significant shift for any M&E business, and a sign of the confidence clients have in them. On top of that, they've just secured their first data centre project in Europe, which opens up a whole new chapter for the business.
With a turnover of £60m and a growing order book, the planning team is expanding to keep pace which is where this role comes in.
The role
They're looking for a Planner with somewhere between 1 to 5 years of planning experience, ideally someone who came up through the tools and understands M&E works from the ground level. You'll be working across live data centre and commercial projects in London, developing and maintaining programmes, tracking progress, and feeding into resource planning using MS Project or Primavera P6.
There are experienced planners around you, but you'll be expected to contribute from day one and take ownership of your work.

Why it's worth a conversation
The business is at an interesting inflection point they've proven themselves at tier one level, they're expanding into Europe, and they're building out the team to support it. Getting in at this stage means being part of the growth rather than joining once everything's already settled.
