Position: BIM Manager

Are you a highly skilled BIM Manager with a passion for digital construction?
We are currently seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our prestigious main contractor client in London. You will lead the BIM implementation and management for a landmark 150 million office fit-out project in Central London, working closely with the design, commercial, and construction teams to deliver one of the capital's most high-profile commercial developments.
What will the role involve?
Manage all BIM-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, protocols, and client requirements.
Collaborate closely with key project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants, to establish BIM workflows, project goals, and deliverables.
Lead the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project BIM protocols.
Oversee the coordination, integration, and clash detection of multidisciplinary models.
Utilise BIM software and digital construction tools to create, manage, and maintain project models, documentation, and data environments.
Organise and chair BIM coordination meetings, clash detection reviews, and VDC workshops.
Provide training and support to project teams on BIM processes, methodologies, and software platforms.
Drive digital innovation and best practice across the project team, ensuring efficient information management and project delivery.
What experience will I need to possess?
Previous experience as a BIM Manager or in a similar digital construction role, ideally with a main contractor.
Strong proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360.
In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, including ISO 19650 and industry best practice.
Demonstrated expertise in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model integration.
Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across design, construction, and client teams.
Degree qualified in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is desirable.
