Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor, Cornwall. Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor sought to join an established and growing construction management business overseeing schemes across Cornwall. We are seeking a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor, delivering prestigious projects valued up to 5m+ across the region utilising JCT forms of contract.

Day to day,

• You will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities,

• Managing the commercial function across multiple projects
• Tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
• Valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting
• Managing contractual obligations and commercial risk
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

• Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying qualification
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Main contractor experience preferred
• Experience delivering projects up to 5m
• Strong commercial and communication skills
• Cost control experience would be highly advantageous
