Mechanical Fitter
A well-established engineering organisation operating within the UK water and environmental sector is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join its growing team. Location: Oxford or Twickenham
Salary: 20 - 21 per hour
Working hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Position: Permanent PAYE position

Key Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems
Working extensively on pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, as well as supporting reactive and emergency works
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards
Requirements
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
On-site mechanical engineering experience with strong knowledge of pumps, motors, and pipework
Valid CSCS card or equivalent
Additional tickets are beneficial but not essential (EUSR, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, Abrasive Wheels)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and good communication skills
