We are looking for someone to assist the Quantity Surveying team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in quantity surveying, offering hands-on experience with project cost control, procurement, and contract administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, take accountability for their responsibilities, and show the ambition and ability to grow within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Support with the valuation of works completed on site and prepare interim payment applications.
- Assist in identifying and managing variations and change orders.
- Help maintain accurate records for project cost tracking.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients under supervision.
- Assist in procurement of sub-contractors and materials.
- Support with final account preparation and settlement.
- Contribute to risk, value management, and cost control processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Education & Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
