Are you a site engineer looking for something different?

If you re a Civil Engineer working on site and starting to think about your next step, this could be the move you ve been looking for.

We re offering a genuine opportunity to transition into a Planning role using your site experience to move into the heart of project delivery from a programme and controls perspective.

You ll still be close to construction, but focused on how projects are planned, sequenced, and delivered successfully.

For candidates not based locally, this role can be carried out remotely.

What you ll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining project programmes using planning software
  • Tracking progress and updating programmes to reflect site activity
  • Identifying delays, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with site teams, engineers, and project managers
  • Supporting short and long-term project planning and scheduling
  • Producing programme updates and reports
  • Assisting with tender and bid programmes

What we re looking for

  • Civil Engineering qualification (Degree / HNC / HND)
  • Site-based experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or construction
  • Strong understanding of how construction projects are delivered
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
