EA Associates are seeking an experienced Freelance Retail Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee fast-paced retail refurbishment and fit-out projects across London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations from commencement through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site activities on retail fit-out and refurbishment projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements and project specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, landlords, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Manage site documentation, permits, RAMS, and quality records.
• Ensure snagging and final handover processes are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing retail fit-out projects, ideally within live trading environments.
• Strong knowledge of retail refurbishment and fast-track fit-out programmes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple subcontractors.
• SMSTS certification (essential).
• CSCS Card (essential).
• First Aid at Work certificate (essential).
