Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering and infrastructure project based in Worcestershire, this Postion Falls Outside IR35!

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the setting out, quality control and day-to-day engineering support of the project.

Your duties will include:

  • Setting out works using Total Station and GPS equipment.

  • Carrying out levelling and surveys using dumpy levels.

  • Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications.

  • Conducting quality assurance and quality control inspections.

  • Supporting the Site Agent with technical and operational requirements.

  • Monitoring construction activities and identifying potential issues before they impact programme delivery.

  • Assisting with inspections, testing and project documentation.

  • Liaising with subcontractors, site teams and project stakeholders.

  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer within Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Utilities or Water projects.

  • Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment.

  • Experience carrying out levelling surveys using dumpy levels.

  • Good understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • CSCS Card

  • Relevant Civil Engineering qualification (Degree, HNC or HND)

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience working on water or environmental projects.

  • First Aid at Work.

  • Temporary Works knowledge.

  • NRSWA qualification.
