The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key responsibilities include: Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects Administering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual compliance Preparing cost reports, forecasts and valuations Managing subcontract procurement and subcontract accounts Identifying commercial risks and opportunities Supporting project delivery teams to maximise profitability Negotiating and agreeing variations and final accounts Producing accurate financial reporting for senior management Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities Strong NEC contract knowledge Experience managing projects from tender through to completion Commercially astute with strong financial and contractual awareness Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Full UK driving licence What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Car allowance Pension scheme Private healthcare Life assurance Hybrid working opportunities Exposure to major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Yorkshire and the North Clear progression pathway within a growing commercial team This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking greater responsibility, project exposure and long-term career development within a well-established and growing infrastructure contractor.
