About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Electrical Test Engineers for ongoing contract work in Nottingham.

This is not a standard electrician role we are specifically looking for specialist electrical test engineers with strong experience in inspection, testing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and testing in line with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
• Complete and submit accurate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
• Perform fault finding and ensure installations meet current regulations
• Work across commercial sites, including large-scale properties
• Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on testing & inspection
• Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) ESSENTIAL
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Valid ECS or CSCS card
• Experience completing EICRs (Electrical Inspection Condition Reports)
• Ideally experienced testing large commercial properties
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
