Freelance Site Manager - Manchester

A respected North West construction contractor is delivering a full internal refurbishment on a youth-focused community building in Greater Manchester. They are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the remaining 20 weeks of the programme and ensure a smooth, high-quality delivery.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, including:
Coordinating internal trades and maintaining progress against programmeManaging H&S, site documentation, inductions, and complianceEnsuring quality standards across all internal packagesLiaising with visiting management and client representativesDriving the project through to completion and handover

What you'll need to succeed
Strong background in internal fit-out or refurbishmentConfident managing multiple trades in a live environmentSMSTS, CSCS, First AidProactive approach to safety, quality, and programme managementAbility to maintain a well-organised, professional site
