The successful business is currently looking for a talented Assistant Estimator to join its pre-contract team in Norwich. Our client has secured a number of key projects in 2026. They are now looking to add a new Assistant Estimator to their team to focus on their busy tender pipeline. The business has a long-standing pre-contract team with an experienced Team Leader who would be an excellent mentor for the successful individual. This opportunity would suit an estimator with c2 years of experience working for either a main contractor or a subcontractor, looking to expand their experience and develop their career further. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting with managing the cost plans and pricing of tenders under JCT D&B forms of contract. You will assist with producing BoQs, take-offs, full cost plans, and target cost reporting, with occasional pre-construction surveying duties including deeds of appointment and procurement. Desirable Experience: 2 years+ of experience with a main contractor or subcontractor as a trainee or assistant estimator, pre-construction surveyor, or cost planner. Use of Conquest software would be advantageous but not essential. Excel knowledge is desirable. Previous Roles: Trainee Estimator OR Assistant Estimator OR Pre-Construction Surveyor OR Intermediate Estimator OR Cost Planner. Qualifications & Skills: Degree or HND/HNC in a construction-related subject. Excel or Conquest software experience is preferable.
