Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: 40,000 - 48,000 (DOE)

An established and growing architectural practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join its Wolverhampton office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technical professional to take a leading role in the delivery of projects across a range of sectors, working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The Role:

Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information using Revit
Preparing Building Regulations submissions and supporting planning applications where required
Coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery
Developing technical design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards
Attending project meetings, site visits, and design team reviews
Assisting with project management, quality assurance, and technical coordination
Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with programme requirements

Requirements:

Significant experience working as an Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and building technology
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience producing detailed construction packages
Experience coordinating projects through planning, technical design, and construction stages
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
CIAT accreditation is desirable but not essential
