Quantity Surveyor

A specialist bathroom pod contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work is looking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.

The company works for Tier 1 contractors and leading residential developers on high rise schemes across London, delivering high end bathroom pod installations on large scale projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop within a busy, growing specialist subcontractor environment with long term project security and exposure to major London schemes.

Details of the role:

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within Main Contracting
• Alternatively, someone who has worked for a specialist subcontractor delivering packages into Tier 1 contractors on London high rise schemes would be of strong interest
• Good commercial awareness and contract knowledge
• Understanding of JCT forms of contract is essential
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills

The role will involve:

• Supporting the commercial delivery of multiple London projects
• Subcontractor procurement and package managemen
• Variations, valuations and cost reporting
• Working closely with operational teams and clients
• Assisting with the financial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account
