We are recruiting for a Remedial Plumber in the South East of England. Applicants must have experience of working within a Legionella / Water Hygiene company, and will be fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines. You will be joining a well-established outfit, who are privately-owned and have a national presence. Experience / Qualifications:

• Must hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and G3 Unvented ticket
• Experience working as a Remedial Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene outfit
• Robust technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Comfortable liaising with clients whilst on site
• Able to adapt to changing client needs
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Carrying out PPM and some reactive remedial plumbing works
• Deadleg removals
• TMV servicing and strip downs
• Installing and refurbishing cold water storage tanks
• Pipework adjustments and replacements
• Flushing of expansion vessels
• Installing dosing pots, TMVs and valves
• Servicing on unvented cylinders
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Producing regular service reports
• Meeting with clients to provide technical advice and feedback
• Quoting for required remedial works
