Electrician required to work with a local North London based council. Rate - 25.10 per hour (via umbrella) Location - North London (must live within half hour of N9) Length - 3 month rolling contract (possibility of obtaining a permanent contract) The role: Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in both occupied and empty properties to a high standard, working independently with minimal supervision. Complete basic repairs across other trades, including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and wall/floor tiling. Resolve minor issues where possible and refer complex work to the relevant specialist. Carry out refurbishment, repair, and maintenance work either independently or as part of a multi-skilled team. Complete property inspections when required and assist with emergency call-outs (e.g. after bad weather, vandalism, or fire).
