An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join an award-winning MEP contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of complex sectors.

Based from the company's Loughton office, this position offers the opportunity to join a growing pre-construction team, supporting the delivery of competitive, commercially robust tenders across a diverse project portfolio while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The Role:

Preparation of mechanical estimates from enquiry through to submission

Review of tender documentation, specifications, and drawings

Liaising with supply chain partners and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations

Producing accurate cost plans, take-offs, and pricing submissions

Supporting value engineering exercises and commercial reviews

Working closely with operational and pre-construction teams throughout bid stages

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience within a Mechanical Estimator position within the MEP sector

Strong understanding of mechanical building services and tender processes

Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tenders within fast-paced environments

Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
