Key Responsibilities Carry out EICRs, initial verification testing and remedial works. Diagnose and repair electrical faults across domestic and non-domestic properties. Undertake rewires, consumer unit upgrades and electrical installations. Install and maintain communal lighting, emergency lighting and fire/smoke alarm systems. Complete digital certification and ensure compliance with BS 7671 and health and safety legislation. Inspect and upgrade void properties to required letting standards. Use mobile devices/tablets to manage jobs, record time and submit certification. Essential Requirements Fully qualified Electrician with ECS Gold Card or equivalent . Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (or equivalent). AM2 / AM2S / AM2E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382 or equivalent). Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent). Full UK Driving Licence. Experience working across both domestic and commercial/non-domestic environments. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills, particularly when working with residents and customers. Desirable Social housing or local authority experience.
