Salary: 70,000 - 85,000 + Car Allowance + Package

The Opportunity
A well-established main contractor based in Berkshire is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.
The business operates across healthcare, education, housing, and leisure sectors, delivering projects typically between 3m- 14m. Their work is a mix of new build and refurbishment schemes, predominantly under JCT Design & Build contracts.
They have built a strong reputation for delivering quality projects and maintaining long-term relationships with clients across the South.
This is a key role within the commercial team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects and manage them through the full lifecycle within a stable and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Management - Take full responsibility for the commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final accountCost Control - Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure financial targets are metProcurement - Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointmentSubcontractor Management - Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and paymentsValuations - Prepare and manage applications for payment and final accountsRisk Management - Identify and manage commercial risks across projectsCollaboration - Work closely with site, design, and senior management teams to ensure smooth project delivery
