A highly regarded specialist architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join its growing team in the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of bespoke residential projects within a niche and rewarding sector. The practice operates nationally and has developed a strong reputation for delivering tailored design solutions on technically challenging schemes.
The successful candidate will become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team, working across a range of residential adaptation, refurbishment and new-build projects.
The Role
- Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion
- Oversee project quality and technical delivery
- Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
- Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and specifications
- Attend site visits and client meetings nationally as required
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with significant post-Part III experience
- Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
- Strong residential design and technical detailing ability
- Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Knowledge of accessible design principles advantageous
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- AutoCAD experience essential
- NBS specification knowledge beneficial
- Contract administration experience advantageous
