What you'll be doing As Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of work packages across the Sizewell C project. Your role will include: Managing projects and work packages from planning through to completion. Leading site teams, engineers and subcontractors. Managing programmes, resources, costs and deadlines. Working closely with clients, contractors and project stakeholders. Monitoring progress and providing regular reports. Identifying risks and resolving issues. Ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the required quality standards. Supporting commercial activities, variations and change control. Working with technical and design teams on project delivery. Ensuring all work meets the required health, safety and environmental standards. The projects cover areas including dewatering, water treatment, pumping systems, geotechnical works, water abstraction, instrumentation and monitoring and temporary works. You won't be expected to know everything from day one - we're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation who is willing to learn and develop. About you We're looking for someone with: At least 5 years' Project Management or Site Management experience. A Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering background - essential. Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Strong communication and organisational skills. Experience working on construction, infrastructure or engineering projects. A proactive approach and the ability to solve problems. A genuine interest in learning and developing within the nuclear/energy sector. Previous experience on major infrastructure, nuclear or energy projects would be advantage but isn't essential. You'll also need Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience. Valid CSCS card. SMSTS. Full UK Driving Licence. Permanent right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. Ability to obtain the required security clearance for the Sizewell C site. We are seeking a highly capable Technical Manager (or a driven Assistant Technical Manager) to oversee the technical lifecycle of our projects through both construction and post-construction stages. This role bridges the gap between design and delivery. You will take full ownership of services, warranty sign-offs, and contractor design elements during the build, while critically driving post-completion NHBC defect resolutions and asset adoptions. Key Responsibilities Asset Adoptions & Bonds: Progress road and water/waste-water asset adoptions; clear road bonds, manage sewer recoveries, and resolve statutory authority issues. Warranty & Sign-Offs: Collate design, environmental, and engineering data to secure NHBC technical sign-off and clear post-completion legacy defects.
