What s important is that you re confident, observant and safety-focused, with the ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels. You ll ideally have: Experience within a quarry, manufacturing, logistics, construction or industrial environment Strong Health & Safety awareness Confidence directing drivers and challenging unsafe behaviour when necessary Good communication and interpersonal skills The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment A proactive, self-motivated approach Good observational skills and attention to detail Basic IT skills A flexible attitude and willingness to support the wider operation Experience working within a 24-hour operational environment would be advantageous. Qualifications such as Banksman Training, IOSH Working Safely or First Aid at Work would also be beneficial, although these are desirable rather than essential.
