We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services company to assist them in hiring a Contract Manager for their growing team in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join a dynamic organisation delivering complex projects across the energy sector. The role offers exposure to high-value contracts and the chance to play a key part in supporting commercial success and risk management.
As the Contract Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing the full contract lifecycle from tender through to close-out
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating client and subcontractor agreements
Identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
Supporting project teams with contractual advice and guidance
Managing variations, claims, and dispute resolution processes
Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience in contract management within engineering, energy, or construction sectors
Strong knowledge of contract frameworks such as NEC, FIDIC, or similar
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Solid understanding of commercial risk and compliance
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
