Senior Quantity Surveyor

Central London
£80,000 £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

A leading UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead a major new build residential development in Central London.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor with an impressive portfolio of large-scale residential, mixed-use, student accommodation and high-rise developments across the UK. The business has a strong pipeline of secured work, with projects ranging from £30m to £300m in value and schemes either commencing on site or currently within PCSA/pre-construction phase.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for a flagship residential project from early-stage procurement through to final account, working closely with operational, design and pre-construction teams.

The Role

  • Lead all commercial aspects of a major residential scheme
  • Manage projects through PCSA, procurement and delivery phases
  • Oversee subcontract procurement and package management
  • Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts and cost reporting
  • Manage variations, valuations and final accounts
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
  • Strong track record delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments
  • Experience on projects valued £30m+
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial processes
