Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a major 12m CAT B commercial office fit-out project. The successful candidate will take ownership of the mechanical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is safe, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all mechanical services delivery on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and client teams
• Drive programme, quality, and health & safety performance
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and project handover
• Manage procurement, variations, and package costs
• Attend and lead project coordination meetings

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering CAT A / CAT B commercial fit-out projects
• Strong mechanical building services background (HVAC, ventilation, pipework, BMS)
• Experience managing projects/packages valued 5m+
• SMSTS and CSCS Manager Card essential
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Experience in live commercial environments
• Knowledge of BREEAM/WELL projects
• BIM coordination experience
