Job Description
A respected fire safety consultancy is looking for a Passive Fire Surveyor to support their growing passive fire division. This Passive Fire Surveyor role would suit an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor who enjoys site-based inspection work and technical reporting.
The Passive Fire Surveyor's Role
The successful Passive Fire Surveyor will carry out passive fire surveys, inspect compartmentation, identify defects and prepare detailed reports. The Passive Fire Surveyor will assess fire stopping, service penetrations, fire doors and compartment lines across a range of property types.
The company will support the Passive Fire Surveyor with structured training, varied projects and progression into senior survey or project management roles.
The Passive Fire Surveyor
The successful Passive Fire Surveyor will ideally have:
Experience in passive fire surveying
Knowledge of fire stopping, compartmentation and fire doors
FIRAS, BM TRADA, FDIS or similar training would be beneficial
Strong written reporting skills
A practical understanding of building layouts
A full UK driving licence
